DOROTHY JOHANNA WILLIAMS, 82, of Pasadena went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 17, 2005.

She was born July 1, 1923 in Galveston, TX to Herman and Rose Krahn. Dorothy taught at South Houston High School for 20+ years before retiring in 1984. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, being around young people and attending school activities. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and husband James Lorraine Williams. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters; Lois L. Williams, Dorothy Perkins and husband, Cecil; two granddaughters, Michele Carnes and husband Keith, Lori Perkins, two great-granddaughters, Victoria Mash, Kristen Carnes; one brother, Herman Krahn.

The family wishes to express a heart felt thank you to the staff of Colonial Oaks Assisted Living, Vista Care Hospice, and the continuing care nurses for the care and compassion they extended to their mom and granny.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Forest Park Lawndale. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, with visitation being Friday, August 19, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale
